We are a husband & wife operation from Maui, Hawaii. We have spent years home gardening and learning what grew well and what we had a habit of killing. You would think that with 365 days of absolutely beautiful weather that anything would grow well. Well, to avoid any embarrassing stories, we’ll just say that we quickly discovered that we had a knack for growing peppers. This realization quickly escalated into absolute pepper craziness. Pepper-mania quickly transformed into experimenting with making unique hot sauces because like so many others, we were growing bored with the typical sauces you find on restaurant tables.

Founded in Sydney, Australia and with a firm belief that you shouldn’t have to choose between aesthetics and ethics, Roomie offers a space where design, sustainability and authenticity can co-exist. Our Roomie organic cotton is a modern twist on a classic material with added benefits of sustainability and functional design.

Home to The Charleston Tea Garden, Wadmalaw provides the perfect environment for propagating tea. With its sandy soils, sub-tropical climate and average rainfall of 52 inches per year, Wadmalaw possesses idyllic conditions for the Camellia Sinensis tea plant. This plant is currently used to produce both black and green teas and exists in over 320 varieties on the 127 acre grounds of the Charleston Tea Garden.

Simply Soothing, Inc., founded in 2003, manufactured natural personal care products and home goods in Columbus Junction, Iowa. In 2008, the state of Iowa suffered massive flooding and the post-flood stagnant water drew in many gnats, which made it difficult to be outside. The founder wanted to make a gentle bug repellent so her 5-month-old grandson could enjoy being outside.
