We see ourselves as problem solvers, who disagree with brands that boast about their common products. We created unique materials to avoid wrinkled collars, stains, and shrinks, bringing the finest fabrics with an uncompromising focus on gradation, performance, and durability.

SAM+LEO was founded due to a lack of available clean products for teens. While shopping for toiletries for her son for sleep away camp, founder Dara Erck realized that there was a huge gap in the market. She spent a couple of years sitting with the idea and asking friends if they had a similar experience. When the answers were all a resounding “YES,” she decided to further explore the idea. With the onset of COVID-19 in 2020, Dara found she had more time to devote to this project and Sam+Leo was born.

It all began in 2003 when our founder needed an outlet for her creative energy and wanted to find that special martingale collar for her two retired racing Greyhounds. Eventually, she invested $500 in raw materials and decided to make her own. What started out as a one-woman show making collars in Alisha’s spare bedroom, has now grown into a team of over 50 talented professionals all working together in a 20,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Indian Trail, NC. Each of them brings something valuable to the table, but they all have one thing in common: pride in creating top-quality, beautiful pet products that can be found around the world.

Since 1903, the Stormy Kromer brand has come to embody the independence, wit and grit of the upper Midwest. It all started with a cap. George “Stormy” Kromer, a semi-pro baseball player and railroad engineer, kept losing his hat on the train. He asked his wife, Ida, to sew an earband on his favorite ball cap to keep his ears warm and the hat snug. It worked. Over the past century, many brands have come and gone, yet we’ve survived and thrived — thanks to the adventurers, the workers, the dreamers, and all the excellent people who value style, durability, and a sense of fun.

Lori started Natural Northern Foods in 2005 based in Traverse City, Michigan. Her love of farmer's markets inspired the creation of her original recipe fresh salsa. After the success from local sales, she added more salsa flavors, hummus dips, cream cheese spreads, spices, rubs and speciality items. Everything is made with the highest quality local ingredients that are gmo and gluten free, with no preservatives added.
