Our story started in 1981 when our founder opened a cart on Church Street in Burlington, Vermont and began selling Teddy Bears that he made in his garage. Over 40 years later, our Bears continue to be best friends, a part of the family and beloved heirlooms. Each one of our meticulously-designed, artisan, handcrafted Bears is guaranteed for a lifetime. Our smoked fish is smoked to perfection using old world recipes and state-of-the-art special ovens, all fired with northern hardwoods. I consider myself a fluid artist, meaning I take liquid mediums and turn them into something beautiful. I have always loved the idea of taking an everyday material, something people consider ordinary or utilitarian, and elevating it. Concrete, which is the main material I use, has some amazing properties that make it extremely flexible, durable and therefore the perfect material to work with that fit that ‘ordinary’ criteria. Whenever someone asks me in amazement “is that really concrete?!” I know I have accomplished that goal! Lately I have been creating alcohol ink paintings on concrete clocks, coasters and trays.

Cacao husk tea is a pure, loose leaf tisane made from the outer shells of ethically sourced cacao beans. Chocolate makers, after roasting the beans, separate the husks from the nibs which are used to make the chocolate.
